Edit Credit note & Debit Note Option

I am writing to bring to your attention an important issue regarding the management of credit notes in our billing system. Currently, it is quite difficult to share credit notes, primarily because there is no option to edit them. This capability is essential for our operations, and I believe having the ability to edit both credit notes and debit notes would significantly enhance our processes.

First, when we create a direct credit note, it does not link with any invoice, which presents a critical issue for tracking.

Second, in situations where we issue credit notes for returns from multiple or previously paid invoices, the lack of an editing option becomes a challenge. Customers often return stock against a new invoice, and it is crucial to have the ability to make edits to accurately reflect these transactions.

I urge the team to consider providing editing options for credit notes to streamline our billing operations and improve customer service.
