Feature Request: Linked Ledger / Journal Entry for Marketplace Reconciliation

I am a regular e-commerce seller using myBillBook for billing and GST compliance. While the app is very useful for simple billing, I face difficulties in properly recording marketplace transactions (like Meesho, Amazon, Flipkart).

The main challenge is the absence of linked ledgers / journal entry functionality, which creates problems in handling:

  • Marketplace settlements (gross sale vs net payout)

  • Shipping collected and paid by marketplace

  • TCS deducted by marketplace

  • Monthly consolidated settlements

  • Proper reconciliation between bank receipts and GST reports

Because of this limitation, users are forced to use workarounds like adjustments, discounts, or external Excel reconciliations, which is not ideal and increases confusion during audits.

Suggestions for improvement:

  1. Add basic Journal Entry / Adjustment Voucher feature.

  2. Allow creation of ledger-type accounts (e.g., TCS Receivable, Marketplace Charges).

  3. Introduce a Marketplace Settlement module where gross sale, deductions, and net payout can be recorded cleanly.

  4. Provide better guidance or templates for e-commerce sellers.

These features would greatly improve accuracy, reduce manual reconciliation, and make myBillBook more audit-friendly while still remaining simple.

Thank you for building a helpful product. I hope these suggestions will be considered in future updates.
Thankyou.
