Feature Request: Sort by Item Code

Feature Request

Please add a sorting option for Item Code in Items > Inventory. Currently, items can only be sorted by Item Name and Stock Qty.

Our inventory is managed primarily through Item Codes, so sorting by Item Code is essential for stock verification, SKU tracking, stock reconciliation, and inventory audits.


Technical Requirement

Our Item Codes are 12-digit numeric values, for example:

101131015001
101131014001
101131013001
101131016001


Since Item Codes are numeric, sorting should be performed numerically rather than alphabetically.

Ascending:
101131013001
101131014001
101131015001
101131016001

Descending:
101131016001
101131015001
101131014001
101131013001

lease add both Ascending and Descending sorting options for Item Code alongside the existing sorting options.

    Developer Suggestion:

    Please add Item Code as a sortable field in Items > Inventory.

    Our Item Codes are fixed-length 12-digit numeric SKU codes (e.g., 101131014001, 101131015001, 101131016001). We would like both Ascending and Descending sorting options so that inventory can be verified and audited according to SKU sequence.

    The implementation can follow the application's existing sorting framework used for Item Name and Stock Qty.
