Request for Custom Dropdown Fields in Purchase & Sale Invoices (Urgent Feature Requirement)

Hi Team,

I need an important feature added in my billing workflow. Currently, in both Purchase and Sale invoices, I have to type the same details manually again and again. This is slowing down billing and increasing chances of mistakes.

Feature Required (Urgent): Add custom fields with dropdown options in both Purchase and Sale entries.

Field type: Dropdown / Select

I should be able to create my own options from Settings.

While creating an invoice, when I click the field, the dropdown should show options immediately (no manual typing needed).

Purchase module – required options:

Unregistered

Unregistered Supplier / Farmer

Registered

Sale module – required options:

Unregistered / Consumer

Unregistered

Registered (B2B – GSTIN will be filled normally)

Requirements:

  1. I should be able to add/edit options as per my business.

  2. I should be able to set default values.

  3. Once I select an option for a supplier, it should auto-fill next time for the same supplier.

But in purchase or sale auto filled shuld be treated differently

  1. Field must appear directly in the invoice form without any extra steps.

This is a necessary feature for my daily use because I purchase mainly from farmers and unregistered suppliers. Manually typing the same information every time is inefficient.

Please confirm if this can be added and the expected timeline.
