Subject: Feature Suggestion – Add Payment Mode Option in Fixed Asset Entry

Message:

Dear MyBillBook Team,

I’ve been actively using MyBillBook for maintaining accounts of my business. While adding fixed assets via the Balance Sheet > Fixed Assets > Add New Entry, I noticed that the system does not provide an option to select “Payment Mode” (like UPI, Bank, Cash, etc.).

This leads to a mismatch in accounting, since:

  • The asset is added in the balance sheet,

  • But the corresponding payment (cash/bank deduction) is not reflected anywhere.

To maintain accurate accounting, we’re currently forced to do manual duplicate entries under Cash & Bank, which is inconvenient and prone to mistakes.

Humble request: Please consider adding a “Paid Through” field in the Fixed Asset entry screen, just like in the “Create Expense” section.
This small update will bring a big improvement in practical usability for small business owners like us.
