1. The Critical Need: Dynamic (Manually Changeable) Item Price Context: Our core business involves selling fabrics. We group various qualities and types of fabric under a single generic item name (e.g., "Cotton Fabric"). When a customer selects a specific fabric, the final price is highly variable depending on the quality, weave, and finish selected. Current Issue: The current fixed-price workflow is too rigid. It does not allow for quick modification of the price at the time of billing. Request: We need the ability to manually set/change the price of an item immediately after selection, before proceeding to enter the quantity.

2. Suggested Workflow: Change Data Entry Order To fully support the dynamic pricing mentioned above, the item entry flow must be optimized to reflect the sequence of actions in a retail transaction. Suggested Order: Select Item (e.g., "Cotton Fabric") Manually Set Price (Critical Step: Enter the specific price) Enter Quantity (e.g., 5 meters) Reasoning: In our trade, establishing the exact price for the specific quality is the most immediate step after item selection. Placing the Price entry field before the Quantity field will directly reflect our workflow and drastically reduce checkout time.
