​I am writing to submit a critical feature request and a suggested workflow improvement based on the real-world operational needs of my business. Implementing these changes will significantly enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our billing process.

​1. Essential Need for Dynamic (Manually Changeable) Item Price

​Context (SAFIYA FABRICS™):

Our core business involves selling fabrics. We group various qualities and types of fabric under a single generic item name (e.g., "Cotton Fabric") in the system. When a customer selects a specific fabric from the store, the final price is highly variable depending on the specific quality, weave, and finish selected by the customer.

​Current Issue:

The current fixed-price or rigid pricing workflow does not allow for quick and easy modification of the price at the time of billing. We must set the price dynamically based on the customer's selection before recording the quantity.

​Request:

I request the immediate ability to easily and quickly manually set/change the price of an item immediately after selection, before proceeding to the quantity.

​2. Suggested Change in Data Entry Order for Practical Billing

​To fully support the dynamic pricing required above, the item entry flow must be optimized to reflect the sequence of actions in our retail transaction:

​Suggested (Most Practical) Order:

1. ​Select Item (e.g., "Cotton Fabric")

2. ​Manually Set/Enter Price (This is the critical step where we enter the specific price, e.g., ₹250/meter, based on the fabric quality the customer chose.)

3. ​Enter Quantity (e.g., 5 meters)

​Reasoning for the Change:

In our scenario, establishing the exact price for the specific quality of fabric purchased is the most immediate and crucial step after item selection. Placing the Price entry field before the Quantity field will directly reflect our workflow, streamline the process, eliminate errors caused by price rigidity, and drastically reduce checkout time.

​Kindly prioritize these suggestions, focusing specifically on the flexibility of manual price modification before quantity entry during the billing process. Thank you for your consideration and continued work in improving the application.
