Suggestion for Manufacturing (BOM-Based) Inventory Setup

Dear Sir/Madam,

We would like to propose the implementation of a Manufacturing / Bill of Materials (BOM) feature in the billing system.

The system should allow us to define a standard list of components along with their required quantities for manufacturing finished goods such as E-Rickshaw and E-Loader. For example, components may include battery, motor, controller, chassis, tyres, wiring kit, etc.

Once a finished product is created or invoiced, the system should automatically:

• Deduct the predefined quantities of each component from inventory

• Maintain accurate stock levels in real-time

• Generate proper consumption records for tracking and audit purposes

This feature will significantly improve inventory control, reduce manual errors, and enhance operational efficiency in our manufacturing process.

We request you to kindly consider this enhancement in your system at the earliest.
