Steps to Add HSN Code& GST Details for Items

Adding HSN Code

  1. Navigate to the Create New Item menu in your myBillBook account.

  2. Under the Stock Details section:

    • Locate the HSN Code field.

    • If you know the HSN code, enter it manually.

  3. To search for an HSN code:

    • Click on the Find HSN Code button.

    • Enter the item name in the search bar.

    • Select the appropriate HSN code from the results displayed.

How to Add GST Details to Items

  1. In the Create New Item menu, go to the Basic Details section.

  2. Click on the GST Tax Rates dropdown menu:

    • Choose a GST rate from the list.

    • If an HSN code is already added, the GST rate will auto-update in the field based on the HSN.
